You simply won’t find a more perfect choice then the beautifully converted 16th Century Egypt Mill for your very special occasion. With its riverside setting and private lawn, the Mill can’t fail to impress and provide the dream venue to celebrate with your guests.

Egypt Mill is available for exclusive use weddings or as private use of our function space and wedding gardens.  We are fully set up with years of experience in running events of all sizes and requirements.  Everything you need is on site along with plenty of accommodation so you can feel confident in choosing a venue that takes care of everything.  One point of contact for all the wedding and catering arrangements.

Whether your requirements are for an intimate gathering of close family and friends or a larger reception we can look after up to 110 of your guests seated and 150 for the evening celebrations. (200 evening guests for exclusive use) We offer a full civil wedding service with 3 Egypt Mill civil ceremony licensed locations within the hotel.

Start Planning Your Dream Cotswolds Wedding

Our celebration rooms are full of character with exposed beams and memories of the days gone by when the building was a working mill. Downstairs in our restaurant with its flagstone floor and quirky objects d’art are two original water wheels, one of which is in working order.

Our delightful water gardens and private lawn make the outdoors the ideal location for your welcome drinks and photographs. The private lawn is also available exclusively for wedding or civil partnerships held with us.
To help you with your planning we can also recommend a range of wedding requirement specialists here in Nailsworth, right on the doorstep, such as florists, themed coordination, the wedding cake, live music or a DJ.
We take our responsibilities very seriously and will tailor your requirements to ensure that your special day is truly memorable in every way. We promise you won’t be disappointed.

To help you get the most out of your perfect day, we have tailored a number of different packages for you to choose from. These range from small to large Cotswolds weddings, and take into account the time of year too. Let us make your dream day become a reality. Take a look at the packages below.

Wedding Brochure

It is your responsibility to arrange the services of the Superintendent Registrar, you are required to give formal notice of your intention to marry a minimum of 28 days prior to any date you are considering for your marriage. The most popular times for the ceremony are 1pm, 1.30pm or 2pm, however if you would like to discuss timing please contact us.
